A weekend in Boulogne-sur-Mer: our suggested itinerary

What can you do in 48 hours in Boulogne-sur-Mer? A weekend between the old town, Nausicaá and the seafront.

Two days to change your pace between heritage and sea air.

Day 1: take time for the town

Morning: the old town

Start with the ramparts and historic centre. Explore cobbled streets and the area around the basilica. Keep the morning flexible for an extra visit or a break.

Afternoon: from the centre to the seafront

Head into the centre, discover the harbour atmosphere and enjoy the seafront promenade. Depending on the season and weather, finish with a beach walk before returning to your apartment.

Day 2: ocean and discoveries

Spend part of the day at Nausicaá after checking opening times and tickets on its official website. Leave time afterwards for the seafront or a longer stay on the Opal Coast.

Staying a little longer?

Add Wimereux, a walk in Hardelot or the landscapes of the Two Capes. Arrange transport and adapt each outing to the weather.

Choosing your apartment for the weekend

The Experiences and Cosy Collections include seven apartments for two to six guests. Pick Nostalgie 90 or La Capsule Rétro for a retro getaway, L'Œil Urbain for an artistic stay or the Cosy Collection for a break with family or as a couple.
